Tree Climber/Certified Arborist

Job Overview
We're seeking a top-tier tree climber who is also a certified arborist to join our team. As a number 1 true climber, you'll be responsible for complex tree care operations, demonstrating exceptional climbing skills, and providing expert arboricultural knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree trimming, , removal and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees.
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access high branches.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care and garden upkeep.
• Utilize GIS technology to assess tree health and plan maintenance schedules.
• Rigging techniques for safe branch removal and lowering.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Experience

• Proven experience in tree trimming, landscape maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with bucket truck operation and rigging techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices and general garden maintenance is beneficial.
• Understanding of tree care principles, including pest management and disease identification, is advantageous.
• Ability to work at heights safely and effectively while adhering to safety regulations.
• ISA Certified Arborist credential
• ISA Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist certification
• Minimum of 3 years of professional climbing experience in arboriculture

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
