SPIN Global is a Maryland-based public benefit corporation that exists to disrupt disasters from neighborhoods to nations. We are seeking qualified applicants to build a deployment-ready cadre, prepared to support response operations as opportunities arise. Applicants must possess a FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD).
Responsibilities
- Conduct architectural site inspections in compliance with FEMA's Public Assistance Programs and guidelines.
- Prepare architectural plans and designs that meet local, state, and federal codes and standards.
- Evaluate damaged structures and infrastructure to determine eligibility for FEMA funding.
- Collaborate with project teams, including engineers and program delivery managers, to create comprehensive recovery solutions.
- Utilize FEMA's Grants Portal to manage project documentation and maintain transparency in reporting.
- Provide technical expertise on determination memorandums, appeals, and program delivery processes.
- Stay current with FEMA's policies, including IS-1000, IS-1001, IS-1002, and related course content.
Requirements
5 years of experience and professional registration (e.g., Registered Architect (RA), Architect Registration Examination (ARE), or equivalent) or
National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB)
