The Opportunity- Purchasing Coordinator
As the Purchasing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our procurement strategy, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for excellence and a collaborative approach. You’ll oversee all aspects of purchasing while upholding our values and contributing to our creative, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and direct objectives, policies, and processes for all purchasing functions.
- Lead purchasing initiatives to align with client expectations and financial goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison for vendor and client relations, fostering partnerships and opportunities.
Procurement & Order Management
- Create, manage, and track sales orders and purchase orders.
- Oversee order acknowledgment review and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy in every detail.
- Establish new supply chains for high-end furniture and textiles, enhancing our offerings.
- Track orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with finance for accounts payable documentation to support timely billing.
- Oversee product installation, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors on-site.
- Develop and execute punch lists, ensuring resolution of tasks to the highest standard.
- Maintain and manage physical product inventory, samples, and reference materials.
Project Management
- Assist in creating and reconciling furniture budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Tag furniture on floor plans and prepare detailed specifications for client review.
- Deliver comprehensive reports on budgets and purchasing activity.
Deliverables Include:
- Purchase proposals, orders, and invoices.
- Updated purchase order tracking sheets.
- Comprehensive furniture budgets with ongoing reconciliation.
- Vendor database management and development.
- Client and vendor meeting documentation.

Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in high end purchasing
· Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or Design Manager is a plus.

Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
