Duties
- Drive a van or box truck to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling of all materials.
- Operate manual transmission vehicles when necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including organizing inventory and managing stock levels.
- Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading when required.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Van Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations can enhance job performance.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
