Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely pickup and delivery of laundry to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport laundry items to designated locations.
- Load and unload products using equipment as necessary.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine inspections and maintenance checks.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Handle heavy lifting of packages and materials as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used.
- Assist in operations as needed, including moving inventory and organizing laundry orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating box trucks, vans, or other delivery vehicles is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while adhering to schedules.
