Job Summary:

The Spine Team Texas Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Human Resource Department in maintaining compliance within the department.  This position will work closely with the Human Resources Operations Supervisor, Human Resources Operations Specialist and Director of Human Resources in assisting with all functions of the Human Resource Department.  This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Spine Team Texas.  The Human Resources Coordinator will report directly to the Human Resources Operations Supervisor under the direction of the Director of Human Resources. This position is hybrid-remote.

Human Resources Coordinator Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting the Human Resource Department with

  1. Recruiting, such as light sourcing of candidates, processing all new employees through background checks and drug screens and providing status updates on the stages of the candidates offered, creating new employee profile from within the HRIS and emailing necessary stakeholders with new employee access information.
  2. New hire orientation, such as sending e-vites to all new employees, assembling necessary documents and information for new employees and participating in delivering the orientation presentation. Serve as a backup for the presentation of New Employee Orientation.
  3. Maintaining employee recognition and retention program, such as maintaining Employee of the Quarter nominations and communications.
  4. Administration and Data Maintenance, such as generating system reports, answering employee inquiries, uploading documents to employee files in the HRIS platform, ensuring compliance and maintenance with all new employee I-9’s and E-Verify with guidance from the Human Resources Operations Supervisor, assigning employee reviews when needed.
  5. Arrange logistics on dispersing HR marketing items, flyers and information to all STT locations.
  6. Maintain STT Wellness Program challenges, contest results, prize distribution and email messages.
  7. All other duties as assigned.
  8. This position is hybrid-remote and requires flexibility to work at least 3 days in-office.

This position will have access to highly confidential employee information and must abide by Company policies and procedures including always maintaining confidentiality.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and work in a well-lit, air-conditioned office environment.  Must have ability to lift a minimum of 5 pounds.  Must be able to work under pressure.  Tasks involve no exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.

Qualifications


Educational Requirements & Position Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree required in Human Resources, Mass Communications or related field or
  2. Minimum of 2 years Human Resource experience or education equivalent preferred.
  3. General knowledge of employment laws and procedures preferred.
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
  5. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  6. Excellent organizational ability.
  7. Possess the ability to plan and execute work projects.
  8. Possess the ability to work productively, either independently or with other individuals.
  9. Proficient in communicating in the English language both written and verbally.
  10. Sound judgment and highest ability to remain confidential.
  11. Experience in benefits management, social media and Paycom HRIS is a plus but not required.
  12. Must have interest in Human Resources career development.
