Job Description: We are currently interviewing for MORNING/MID-DAY PART-TIME experienced front desk receptionist positions in our Bay Shore, Commack, & Bethpage, locations. Join our busy, growing multi-specialty private practice whose mission is to provide an exceptional patient experience. We are seeking friendly, compassionate, and organized medical receptionists to join our growing team.
In the front desk role, you will provide assistance to our patients and doctors, with a focus on customer service. You will be responsible for corresponding with patients and physicians. Also maintaining the organization of our office, and ensuring that our environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for our patients, employees, and physicians.
Duties include: Greeting patients, checking in, checking out, rooming patients, answering phones, prepping charts, scheduling and confirming appointments.
Qualified candidates will possess: Desire to provide an exceptional patient experience in our offices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment. Ability to work well with patients, co-workers, managers and doctors. Problem solving skills. pleasant and professional demeanor. Minimum Requirements: One year outpatient medical office experience (Experience must be in a medical office.)
Part time – 28 hours
Monday – Friday
Morning:
Monday: 7:30am - 1pm
Tuesday: 7:30am - 1pm
Wednesday: 7:30am - 1pm
Thursday: 7:30am - 2pm
Friday: 8am - 1pm
Ability to travel to all three locations is required

- Proficient in using Centricity or similar practice management systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a busy environment.
- Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry tasks.
