Title: LIMS Systems Administrator | Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS
Location: Alpharetta, GA or remote
T-P Duration: Up to 6 months
Rate: $70-90/hour
Travel: Up to 20%
Responsibilities: As a system administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading the Thermo Fisher SampleManager LIMS software and hardware, as well as providing training and technical assistance to the users. You will also collaborate with other IT staff and laboratory personnel to ensure the system meets the needs and requirements of the organization. This is a new role and will require some degree of flexibility to assist in the coordination of activities across all stakeholder teams.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a LIMS System Administrator (Thermo Scientific SampleManager preferred)
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, security, and system administration including but not limited to SQL, Windows Server, networking, and security protocols.
- Data integrity and security: Strong understanding of data integrity, compliance, and security measures within a laboratory setting, especially when handling sensitive or regulated data.
- Excellent Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the LIMS system and associated hardware and software components.
- Excellent Communication skills
