Overview:
The Senior Process Improvement Specialist will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements across various departments, including IT, Operations, Technical Services, Finance, and HR. This role focuses on optimizing processes, reducing process variation, and improving efficiency using Lean Six Sigma principles. The Senior Process Improvement Specialist will work cross-functionally to drive standardization, establish best practices, and implement fact-driven solutions that support the company’s strategic objectives.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Create detailed process maps to identify inefficiencies and optimize performance.
- Implement process standardization initiatives, ensuring alignment with best practices and key metrics.
- Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities across multiple business units.
- Execute and lead process improvement projects from inception to completion using project management methodologies.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to analyze and resolve process issues, enhancing operational effectiveness.
- Provide fact-driven root cause analysis to address process inefficiencies.
- Develop and maintain process training and certification documentation to ensure consistency in implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
Desired Skills and Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Business Process Optimization.
- Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles (Green Belt or higher preferred).
- Experience in process mapping, process documentation, and performance measurement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and drive execution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with all levels of the organization.
- BPMN 2.0 training preferred.
- 4 years of experience in the Energy Sector is a plus.
