Location: Stratford Tx - Field-Based, Rotational Schedule: 3-4 weeks on, 1 week off
Salary: $90k - $105k (Hourly Rate: $35 - $40)

Summary
Spinnaker Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to support our client’s field operations in the agricultural and construction sectors. This role requires a proactive leader to manage on-site construction projects, specifically for grain handling, storage, and processing facilities. The Site Superintendent will work closely with subcontractors, site owners, and company millwright teams to ensure that all milestones are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This position is ideal for an individual with substantial experience in agricultural construction and a strong commitment to safety, communication, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities include overseeing daily on-site activities, directing subcontractors and millwrights, and maintaining strict adherence to OSHA safety standards. The role also requires extensive field communication with the Project Manager to keep projects aligned with schedules and budgets. The position offers a company truck, gas card, credit card, and a 15% profit-sharing incentive.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Project Management
- Serve as the primary on-site leader for field operations, managing tasks, timelines, and resources in line with project schedules.
- Coordinate with job site owners, subcontractors, and company millwright teams to achieve key milestones and maintain project momentum.
- Safety and Compliance
- Enforce daily safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, MMB policies, and client requirements.
- Conduct and document toolbox talks, daily safety assessments, and complete all required safety forms (e.g., JSA, equipment sign-out sheets).
- Resource and Schedule Coordination
- Maintain regular communication with the Project Manager to report progress, document daily hours, and track completed tasks.
- Ensure efficient use of resources by obtaining POs for necessary equipment and supplies and managing ExakTime entries for site documentation.
- Client and Subcontractor Relations
- Develop strong working relationships with customers, subcontractors, and MMB teams to ensure alignment on project scope and expectations.
- Manage punch list completion and perform final walkthroughs with site owners and subcontractors to confirm project close-out.
Position Time Allocation
- 5% – Attend meetings with MMB teams across safety, sales, project management, and subcontractors.
- 5% – Handle purchasing of job-related supplies.
- 5% – Complete and maintain safety, ExakTime, and other project management documentation.
- 85% – Lead daily on-site management activities, including crew supervision and milestone tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5-8 years in agricultural construction with experience in site management, crew supervision, and contractor coordination.
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in blueprint reading and field equipment installation; familiarity with ExakTime and other site documentation tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.
- Driving Requirements: Must hold a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
