What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crane Rigger position at Spinning Crane Works?
MUST BE LOCAL OR CURRENTLY LIVE WITHIN AN HOUR OF MELBOURNE FL
This is a vigorous job that requires manual labor. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Rigging or crane industry experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently rig and move heavy equipment and materials using various tools and equipment
- Operate forklifts, boom trucks, and cranes to lift and transport materials
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks
- Inspect rigging equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute rigging operations
- Maintain accurate records of rigging activities
Skills:
-Must be able to lift 80lbs
- Previous experience working with cranes or similar environment
- Proficient in operating forklifts, boom trucks, and cranes(setup)
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and best practices
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Strong materials handling skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
