SAS Platform Administrator
Contract
Whippany, NJ- Onsite (Hybrid – 3 Days)
Qualifications:
· Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Experience:
o 5-7 years of experience in SAS platform administration, including hands-on experience in administering SAS 9.4.
o Strong exposure to Unix/AIX environments and command-line tools.
o Experience with SAS migration (M5 to M7 AIX) and modernization projects.
o Proven expertise in managing SAS Grid environments, ensuring efficient workload management and performance optimization.
o Familiarity with Hadoop administration and integration of Hadoop with SAS environments is a plus.
· Skills:
o Proficient in base SAS, SQL, UNIX, shell scripting, and TWS (platform scheduling tools).
o Strong knowledge of SAS metadata security and OS security protocols.
o Experience with SAS Management Console and related tools like SAS EG and SAS Studio.
o Ability to troubleshoot and optimize SAS environments, ensuring minimal downtime and peak performance.
o Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues and solutions to diverse audiences.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
