Beer Delivery Driver

Job Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing the distribution of Spiral Brewery beer and maintaining a safe and clean workspace for distribution. This position will deliver kegs and cans to all accounts for Spiral Brewery. Must pick up product for delivery at Spiral Brewery and load kegs and cans into Spiral Brewery’s distribution van.

This position is responsible for loading product into customer’s cooler or designated area, delivering invoice, and collecting payment upon delivery as designated.

This position is responsible for assisting in merchandising product and maintaining relationships with accounts. Occasionally assist with production tasks if appropriate.

Essential Functions

This job will be expected to complete the following functions. This is not an all-inclusive list. This job may be assigned other functions or tasks as business or consumer needs dictate. This is meant to be a general description of the most essential functions only.

• Load, transport, and unload kegs and cans to various accounts in assigned distribution regions using Spiral Brewery’s distribution van.
• Develop a delivery schedule that is effective and efficient and communicate the schedule with the sales team.
• Rotate and restock product upon delivery.
• Deliver invoices and collect payment as appropriate.
• Provide exceptional customer service to Spiral’s customers.
• Work with corresponding sales team members to troubleshoot any inventory, delivery or payment issues.
• Work with the Production Team to package and store products internally.
• Maintain administrative organization weekly including but not limited to payment methods, sales order sheets and delivery reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including the distribution van.
• Provide appropriate maintenance on Distribution Van as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/ Licensure/ Certification Requirements:

• Experience in sales or distribution is strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable record required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• 1 year of Communications, Marketing, Sales, or related experience preferred.
• Effective communication in the English language, including verbal and written communication, with both internal and external contacts required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines required.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule required.
• Self motivated.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
