Spiral Solutions and Technologies is seeking a SECDEVOPS Senior Engineer to join our team!
Our engineer manages and coaches' field-level developers from 90 geographically separated locations across the country in rapid prototyping process to bring products to end users. The engineer focuses on assisting software developers in navigating various approval processes to achieve successful software deployment, testing, and transition for to improve missions from back-office processes to operational lethality. Leverage commercial software to report on development, integration, testing, and transition.

Requirements
Essential Duties :
Assess existing architecture of cloud / hardware infrastructure to host the virtual development environment / processes and make recommendations for improvements to the government administrator.Define DEVSECOPS framework. This includes using and advocating for Agile best practices such as SAFe. This also includes version / release control, auditing standards, and changing management (e.g., submit, review change requests into a Git repository).Set up a repository of approved SW for users, such as binaries, libraries, packages, and vetting of third-party tools to ensure they are free of vulnerabilities.Publish internal SW projects for enterprise use to include executable applications for end users and packages / libraries for developers.Establish templates for defining CI / CD pipelines via machine-readable scripts according to open-source standards (e.g., YAML).Maintain Kanban boards to track project progress, retrospectives to evaluate processes, and user feedback to assess impact.Incorporate continuous education to improve skill sets, stay certified, and learn new methods to implement software.Attention to detail is essential, and all tasks must be carried out to the highest standard.Assess application and process improvement opportunities and prepare rationale documentation to share with team members and other affected parties.Work independently when required.Provide operation support as needed or when requested by the Program Manager / Task Lead and will also periodically provide performance feedback to them.Required Qualifications :
10 years of related experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on Agile DevelopmentProven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerizationDocker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
Education :
Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
