Fab Shop Laborer
Responsiblefor general shop duties including : paint prep work, spray and / or hand painting,hydro pressure testing assembled products, movement of material throughoutplant, making machine name plates, cutting material and other miscellaneoustasks as needed.
Essential Job Functions :
- Paint finished product in a manner that supports theworkflow of the group
- Examinesfinished painted product to verify conformance to company standards
- Meettarget efficiency levels required by maintaining proper workflow cadence
- OperateHydro pressure testing equipment
- HydroPressure test assembled products
- Abilityto troubleshoot and maintain paint booth equipment / area
- Operatename plate printer machine
- Operate a forklift
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to follow all safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Abilityto apply common sense understanding to carry out work instructions given
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to pass forklift driving test
