Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all accounting operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Manage financial risk and ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Minimum of 7 years of combined accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with crafting financial statements and general ledger functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
