Job Summary:
This role provides IT related support to teams and other Spire Motorsports support staff at the track and other related events. This role will travel to the majority, but not all, of the races during the NASCAR cup and truck racing series season.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support at the track as well as shop
- Responsible for installation and maintenance of all IT equipment at the track in the pit boxes, garage boxes, qualifying carts, and tracks
- Setting up the competition network connections and communication between the track and the shop
- Researching new improvements for our networks in both security and speed
- Ensure all teams have necessary equipment and data that is needed for tests
- Establish networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
- Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization
- Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access
- Install, configure and troubleshoot all virtualization servers, wireless LAN controllers network switches, firewalls, and routers
- Report network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information, and managing projects
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Advanced understanding pf TCP/OP and related protocols
· Wireless networking configuration and troubleshooting
· Windows O.S. installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
· Spyware removal
· Advanced network switching and routing understanding
· Audio visual equipment installation, configuration and troubleshooting
· Virtualization knowledge including VMware, Hyper-V, and VDI
· Network troubleshooting
· Network hardware configuration
· Network performance tuning
· Microsoft 365 Administration
Education and Experience:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering: Preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods walking and standing
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to push or pull up to 100 pounds at times
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times
