What you’ll do:
Manage and oversee the DME, Cold Therapy, and future potential service lines at practice locations. 50% of this role will be administrative in nature and requires travel to location for training and education as needed. This position will report to the Manager of Clinical Operations at the applicable practice and be provided structure and guidance by the Senior Manager, Service Lines. DME Manager role will include management of inventory, stocking, delivery management, product education and processes related to successful implementation, management and oversight of all DME related distribution at the practice offices. This position will require organization, communication, management and reporting skills to achieve success. The manager will be expected to have a growth oriented mind set.
Responsibilities:

Oversees the management and tracking of all DME Products- includes on site training at all locations as necessary

Provides education and training to DME/Service Lines staff (ex. DME coordinators, MAs)

Ensures competency in DME/Service Line related dispensement and tracking

Oversees Tracking system and manages inventory at all locations using the materials management program.

Places and receives all DME orders and special orders

Ensure purchase order reconciliation (addressing order issues)

Conducts and/or manages quarterly cycle counts and end of year full inventory counts.

Performs and manages functional brace measurements and fittings as prescribed by the physicians or mid-level staff.

Provides patient education on application, use, care, and expected outcome for DMEs

Works along with the practice coordinators for all pre-authorization requirements, ensure staff education on PA requirements at all locations

Ensures completion of appropriate documentation for billing, following all necessary compliance and regulatory processes including custom measurements, Advanced Beneficiary Notices at all practices.

Communicates with revenue cycle on any questions regarding procedures or diagnosis codes.

Educates clinical staff regarding the proper measuring and fitting of braces, including product knowledge at all offices.

Ensures providers are informed on DME ordering workflow

Ensure Front desk is educated on Check out workflow process

Responsible for education on new practice based on their job role

Responsible for ensuring practice competencies across all job titles.

Works with Providers on successful implementation of new supplies into the practice.

Acts as a backup to the Materials Management Clerk.

Performs other appropriate job duties as assigned by the senior manager.

Seeks to contribute to a collaborative work environment with others in same position to move the Service Line program forward.

Provides reporting to supervisor as outlined

Attends scheduled DME meetings as required

Ensures ongoing DME program maintenance during PTO.
Qualifications
Who you are:
Education

BS/BA
-
Athletic Trainer Certification Preferred
-
Background in Healthcare setting
Experience
-
Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience with materials management functions of inventory, ordering/purchasing, receipt and stocking, accounts payable, review or usage report data and development of appropriate par levels.

Must have experience with standard business software to include Microsoft Word and Excel, including basic Excel functions.

Must possess excellent planning and written/oral communications skills and respond well to questions and requests from patients, physicians, and co-workers.

Must have excellent time management skills and demonstrate ability to prioritize and follow through on completion of operational assignments. Must Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of work.

Must have own transportation to be able to commute to various office locations as needed.

Experience in orthopedic bracing is preferred

Salary : $59,800 - $83,700
