Title: Lead Front Desk Specialist
Reports to: Practice Manager
Location – onsite/hybrid: There may be occasional local day travel to Company Divisions.
Hours: Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and may vary depend on Company Schedule

What you’ll do:
The Vision of the Lead Front Desk Specialist is the essential link in providing a team-based approach to patient care and an exceptional patient experience. The Front Office Coordinator will emphasize highly personalized care and help patients surpass barriers to healthcare by improving the patient/provider relationship. The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a courteous and efficient Front Desk operation, and to manage, lead and direct all front desk employees.
Responsibilities/Duties:

Ensures White Glove Service within the Front Offices of Ortho RI

Act as a Front Desk Receptionist

Routinely checks to be sure all patients are accounted for and being helped to eliminate patients’ wait times

Evaluates the patient check in process to ensure effectiveness of patient experience

Ensures that messages, emails, and patient requests are answered
-
Confirms completion for the end day reconciliation for patient in office payments

Responds to patient complaints in a timely and appropriate manner.

Mentor and develop new Front Desk Receptionists

Provides feedback to Practice Manager

Compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
-
Other duties may be assigned as necessary
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum of two years of working in a medical office or related experience

Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
