Property Management Collections Specialists

A Collections Specialists plays a key role in ensuring that the daily duties of the office run smoothly especially as it relates to collection of rent and fees. If you enjoy talking with people, doing a bit of detective work, and organizing various moving parts of an organization than this job is for you.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow up with unpaid rents
Assist in processing 3 Day notices for non-payment of rent
Prepare and file court documents for evictions
Manage past tenants charges and status in AppFolio
Submit delinquent past tenant files to collection company
Process housing rent increases and adjustments
Process applications for Income restricted properties
Prepare information for annual audits
Take collection phone calls and emails from tenants and city contacts
Fill out documents as needed for tenant rental assistance
Help out at the front desk as needed
Follow up with delinquent utilities
Job Qualification:
Able to maintain a presentable personal/business like image
Have standard computer program knowledge (Word, Excel, Google Docs)
AppFolio and RingCentral knowledge a plus
Subject to a criminal background search
Able to complete required Fair Housing training, provided by employer
Compensation Package:
Pay between $14-$16 per hour based on experience
9 paid holidays – includes your birthday
