Travel CT Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel CT Technologist to join our team at Spire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes.
- Care for patients before, during, and after imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Position patients according to protocols and manufacturer instructions to obtain optimal image quality.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and any notable findings.
Requirements:
- AAS or Baccalaureate degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field.
- Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT technologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift patients and equipment as needed, up to 50 pounds.
