Job Responsibilities
- Defines and updates overall test strategy and test architecture and collaborates with the team to ensure a quality product is delivered.
- Analyzes new feature requirements from product management and design docs from developers, and constructs test plans and test cases to fully exercise new features. Provides realistic estimates for test plan execution.
- Executes test plans as features are released and files descriptive bug reports or enhancement requests.
- Actively collaborates with cross-functional teams including product management, user experience, technical publications, and support, and provides valuable insight and feedback.
- Maintains and enhances the automated regression systems and adds regression scripts and framework as the product and requirements evolve.
- Performs analysis on nightly / weekend regression results for any trends or patterns that might indicate underlying problems. Reports any new issues to the team.
- Fully understands the product and provides technical leadership in debugging and resolving complex issues, both internal to the engineering team and from support or customers.
- Be part of a team that owns all phases of the product development life cycle, from conception to delivery to customers, both internal and external. Build quality and security directly into the product by taking advantage of automated testing and CI / CD pipelines.

Pay Transparency : Annualized Salary Wage Range : $119,000 - $153,000
Spirent applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
