Job Overview
This is a software development position for Spirent's leading wireless packet core testing and emulation product. The successful candidate will define and develop cloud solutions for Spirent's industry leading 5G wireless core network testing system. The successful candidate will bring our new 5G test solutions onto AWS, Azure, Google cloud platforms and maintain the VNFs. The candidate will also work on machine learning AI projects. Product areas include systems and system components used for testing wireless core networks for compliance to several industry 3GPP standards. The successful candidate will also be exposed to test specifications and the associated application software that controls the test equipment to manage the test procedures and results.

Job Responsibilities
- Create docker container for software with complex dependencies and CNI requirements.
- Virtualize test applications into VMs and containers on AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Implement and maintain VFNs on AWS, Azure, GCP cloud platforms and OpenStack.
- Research and develop project that is built upon machine leaning and AI.
- Troubleshoot technical problems which involve networking, cloud orchestration and protocol software problems.
- Execute unit test and integration test of the implemented solution.
- Create technical design documents and source material for user documentation.
