Spirent is looking for an experienced Team Lead, Technology Consultant inTelecommunications and Networkingto help support Tier 1 Service Provider segment in the area of Test and Measurement. This individual will be an integral member of Spirent's regional sales team and work closely with many of Spirent's strategic Customers and Industry experts.
You will specialize in Post-Sales activities, acting as the technical subject matter expert on Spirent's products and solutions, understanding customer requirements, determining the best solutions, and effectively communicating the value proposition of those solutions to target customers.
Your primary focus will be to drive technical end-to-end solutions into our clients as part of an integrated sales team. Post-sales activities include solution development, technical presentations, design documentation creation, assisting with technical questions or concerns during the post-sales process. You will be frequently participating in the project specification process, acting as liaison between Spirent's sales / business development and engineering groups, and leading key customer development projects in addition to direct customer engagement in support of the sales team's objectives.

Job Responsibilities
Provide overall direction, support, mentoring for the team as well as managerial responsibilities of hiring, terminating, performance appraisals and merit increases; ensure technical delivery excellence assists with project governance and team organization fosters and sponsors innovation; in depth understanding 4G 5G mobile network user and control plane protocols; analyze complex call flows to troubleshoot network issues; effectively work with internal / external teams to anticipate and qualify customer needs; identify customer requirements and communicate these requirements / feature requests to Product Marketing; provide postsales support and on-going customer training, as required; and work with Spirent Support and Engineering teams to help solve customer issues.
Job Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent; must have 7 years of experience in job offered or related occupation; must have 7 years of experience in the following : Telecommunications and network applications; performance and load testing of packet core network functions; and 3G / 4G / 5G Mobile Core Network testing and troubleshooting. Telecommuting work arrangement permitted : Position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Annualized Salary Wage Range : at least $200,304
Spirent applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
