Responsibilities
- Supervise/Lead Day to day activities for any of the following: PCA, Tool cribs, Transportation, Mix Crib, Cold Stores, Service Procurement, Shipping & Traffic.
- Assure proper communication with team and customers/vendors.
- Monitor 3PL performance and Campus Job Scope
- Ensure adequate staffing, training and development of team members.
- Monitor logistics processes: supervise day to day activities.
- Monitor logistics performance and implement necessary improvement actions in coordination with other internal functions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, anticipate customer requirements and maintain good relationships.
- Prepare and develop Value Streams to fine-tune the business.
- Knowledgeable of Shipping process & procedures, Domestic & International for all programs
- Monitors shipment schedule to deadlines for multiple programs.
- Coordinates work scope/schedule/employee base to ensure coverage.
- Maintain Inventory Structure according to Specifications, Setup/Oversight of Audits and provide validation/verification for reporting purposes per internal guidelines.
- Multiple roles are open with 3 shifts available
Qualifications
- Experience with Aerospace Manufacturing, Logistics & Warehouse Management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (mainly Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of SAP a plus
- There are multiple roles open with the 3 shifts needing coverage, selected candidates must be able to work any shift, any day as assigned
- 5 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
- Prior People Management experience is a plus
