Description
SUMMARY :
The Demand and Supply Planner accurately predict customer demand, creates and maintains forecast models, plans supply levels, assist in the management of inventory, and provide guidance to finance, procurement, inventory management, and sales teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Gathers data from internal and external sources to forecast demand.
- Analyze sales trends, market data, and customer demand patterns.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams for efficient planning.
- Maintain and optimize inventory levels to prevent stock outs or overstocking.
- Generate reports and dashboards using Excel (advanced skills preferred).
- Monitor information on events or occurrences that could impact demand and or supply such as promotions and production delays and incorporate into forecast modeling.
- Gather updates on vendors, distributors, sales, and other stakeholders that can affect demand.
- Refine systems and methods to improve demand forecasts and supply planning.
