The Producer will plan, coordinate and oversee medium to large size Corporate & Live Event production and provide on-site supervision at event venues for a variety of industries, clients, and accounts.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of events from planning stages through collection of invoice, including: collaborating with clients to collect information; floor plan management; production timeline management, writing work orders; overseeing the creation, approval and distribution of service kits; working with internal departments to ensure work orders are completed; overseeing the set-up and tear down of events; and generating event organizer invoices and following up until collected
- Act as a liaison with event management, exhibitors, facility staffs, GES Exhibitions, production personnel, internal clients and ancillary vendors for all services and build working relationships with all
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance during the proposal proforma development
- Create event budget and ensure all events are produced within established budget guidelines. Budget and fiscal responsibility on assigned events including accuracy, forecasting and management
- Supports Account team with client relationship
- Manages outside vendors and freelance workers in support of the planning and execution of events
- Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Director of Expo Production
Qualifications

- Self-starter able to work independently and take initiative
- Experience in managing large-scale expo projects with multiple exhibitors, activations and branding needs.
- Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced event production environment
- Awareness and willingness to understand brand messaging and goals/desired outcomes of events
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and on-site supervision of event execution, set up/dismantle
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word
- Ability to proactively provide practical solutions in an ambiguous, time sensitive and fast paced environment
- College Degree required
- Knowledge of corporate events and the tradeshow industry preferred
- 5-6 years of event production or similar experience
- General budgeting and finance knowledge with the ability to create and manage event budgets.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Leadership skills and business acumen
- Must be extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task
- Travel up to 40%
