Position Overview:
The Customer Acquisition Technician I (Installer) serves as the face of SPITwSPOTS, requiring a blend of strong customer service skills and technical know-how. This role is responsible for customer installations, service visits, on-site troubleshooting, and equipment recovery. Work is performed at customer sites and involves both physical installation of internet equipment and digital job documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys for potential customers to determine serviceability
- Install internet service for residential customers, including mounting equipment at roof height and running CAT5-E cable from outside to inside the customer’s home
- Configure managed services hardware and verify that customer computers are connected to the internet

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Field experience is preferred
- Familiarity with computer and networking technology—especially in wireless networks—is a plus
- On-the-job training will be provided
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel outside the home area for up to two weeks at a time, with a week off in between cycles
- Ability to lift and carry 50–100 pounds
- Valid driver’s license (required for operating a company vehicle)
- Must be capable of performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations
- Comfortable working at heights over 40 feet
- Able to work in all weather conditions
