We have a nationwide practice with offices in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Texas, and North Carolina. We are currently seeking an Attorney for our Independence, Columbus, and Cincinnati, Ohio offices.
Key qualifications for this role include strong client engagement skills, excellent communication, empathy, and a strong work ethic. We welcome applications from all licensed attorneys, regardless of GPA or experience. While experience in employment law is a plus, it is not a requirement.
Compensation:$65,000 - $85,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Discuss potential claims with new clients
- Evaluate discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA, overtime claims, and wrongful termination cases
- Handle the claims process
- Negotiate settlements
- Communicate daily with staff and managers to coordinate screenings and consultations
- Draft notice of claims, EEOC charges, state charge forms, and other documents as necessary
- Engage with EEOC investigators to present evidence
- Must have Juris Doctorate
- Must be currently licensed to practice law, awaiting Ohio bar results
- Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to demonstrate empathy
- Must possess the ability to multi-task using advanced time management skills and demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work
