Spitzer, a recognized industry leader in designing and fabricating high-specification equipment, is currently seeking Maintenance Technician to join our team.
What Does a Week in the Life of the Maintenance Technician Look Like?
- Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
- Perform minor plumbing, carpentry and masonry work.
- Prepares the surfaces and paints various structures and equipment to preserve wood and metals parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable work environment.
- Keep records of all the day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken in the facility.
- Maintain Inventory for spare parts.
- Practice good housekeeping by cleaning up area after repairs are completed.
- Comply with all corporate policies relating to health and safety while carrying out maintenance functions.
Skills (to Pay the Bills)
Here's a list of a few competencies that the Maintenance Technician at Spitzer should have…
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician working in an Industrial Facility.
- Extensive knowledge of welding, carpentry, repair of electrical and mechanical equipment as well as installation of new equipment.

Work Schedule
Spitzer currently runs two shifts, Monday through Friday with overtime on weekend work as needed. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
