Job Summary :
The I&E Technician I must be team-oriented, proactive, and goal-driven. This position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of I&E systems while maintaining safety, compliance, and applicable codes of standards. All work is performed under the general supervision of the I&E Foreman and / or I&E Supervisor.
Responsibilities :
- Conduit Installation, pull electrical wire and cable;
- Installation of instrumentation, automation, and pneumatic devices;
- Maintenance of tools and equipment;
- Troubleshooting process systems;
- Operate low-voltage electrical systems;
- Job and ticketing creation and tracking;
- Complete all assigned tasks under limited supervision;
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education :
High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred. Applicable work experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Relocation :
This position is not eligible for relocation.
Travel Requirements :
This position requires local travel.
Work Schedule :
This position will work 8 hours, Monday-Friday in the SPL client field location. This position is subject to overtime availability to meet deadlines.
