Job Summary
SPL is growing and is currently looking for an I & E Technician III in Floresville, TX. The I & E Technician III must be team oriented, proactive, and goal driven. This position is responsible for installation and maintenance of I & E systems while maintaining safety, compliance and applicable codes of standards.
Job Responsibilities
High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred. Applicable work experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Relocation:
This position is not eligible for relocation.
Travel Requirements
This position requires local travel.
Work Schedule
This position will work 8-16 hours, Monday-Friday in the Floresville, TX SPL client field location. This position is subject to overtime availability to meet deadlines.

Job Summary
SPL is growing and is currently looking for an I & E Technician III in Floresville, TX. The I & E Technician III must be team oriented, proactive, and goal driven. This position is responsible for installation and maintenance of I & E systems while maintaining safety, compliance and applicable codes of standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Install conduit, pull electrical wire and cable;
- Tubing fitting and installation;
- Installation and testing of instrumentation, automation, and pneumatic devices;
- Maintenance of tools and equipment;
- Troubleshooting process systems;
- Operate low-voltage electrical systems;
- Ensure RTU’s, EFM’s, radios, motor controls, pneumatic controls, AC/DC controls, instrumentation and various communication protocols are installed properly;
- Job and ticketing creation and tracking;
- Complete all assigned tasks under limited supervision;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Candidate must be mechanically inclined;
- Requires previous experience with typical hand tools and power tools;
- Must have a Journeyman Electrician’s license;
- Advanced knowledge of measurement and production systems;
- Must be proficient with and able to perform all I & E Technician II primary tasks as defined by SPL’s I & E Technician Skillsets and Career Path under limited supervision;
- Must be proficient in 5 ancillary tasks and 4 added value skills as defined by SPL’s I & E Technician Skillsets and Career Path.
