Job Summary:
SPL is growing and is currently looking for a Sampling Technician in Williston, ND. The Sampling Technician must be team oriented, proactive, and goal driven. This position is responsible for obtaining liquid hydrocarbon samples, natural gas samples, and similar gaseous samples. The Sampling Technician must also be able to procure water samples.
- Pick up, procure, and transport gas samples as well as hazardous and/or non-hazardous materials from various client sites;
- Maintain communication with customers and SPL regarding work schedule and notify appropriate personnel of any changes that occur;
- Properly prepare all paperwork and documentation of service(s) performed on a timely basis and submit to appropriate office personnel for processing;
- Maintain and account for assigned company property, including tools, credit cards, company vehicle, cell phone, laptop, sampling equipment, test separator unit and parts at all times;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required;
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles required;
- Electrical and/or mechanical experience/knowledge preferred;
- Good communication skills required.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Relocation:
This position is not eligible for relocation.
Travel Requirements:
Out of town stay is sometimes required.
Work Schedule:
This position will work 8-16 hours, Monday-Friday in the Williston, ND Office. This position is subject to overtime availability to meet deadlines.
