COMPANY HISTORY
In 1991, Joanne Currie and her husband Ross purchased Splash Café in Pismo Beach, CA. Over the next 30 years they became well known for winning the 1st place award for their Clam Chowder at the annual Clam Festival. The cafe now serves more than 40,000 gallons of chowder a year, and they have been featured in several national and international publications and TV shows.
DUTIES
- Welcome and serve guests with a SMILE and friendly greeting
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing correct change
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns including helping with food and beverage selections
- Delivering food to customers
- Clean and reset tables
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area
- Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards
- Answering the phone and handle to-go and pick-up orders
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Perform opening, closing, and side work
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting but not required
- Must be able work as a team, be flexible, and have good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds at a time
- MUST have day time weekday/weekend availability
- Proof and documentation of being able to work in the U.S.

GENERAL

- Part-time employment available (15-29 hours per week)
- Pay: $16 - $16.50 per hour Tips
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.25 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 29 per week
