Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement maintenance strategies
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or training preferred
- Proven experience as an Equipment Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair
- Proficiency in hydraulic systems and logic controllers
- Experience with stick welding is a plus
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of high voltage systems is highly desirable
