Shift: PRN (All Shifts: 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a)

Scope of position: You will provide intimate, hands-on quality care to patients in a residential setting, helping with bathing, dressing and the basic activities of life. Conducts and encourage all residents to get exercise and participate in scheduled activities. You will engage in housekeeping tasks such as laundry, replacing linens, cleaning common areas, resident rooms and bathrooms. Prepare nutritious meals and assists in feeding residents if required. Assists with secretarial tasks and document care provided to residents.

Basic Job Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required
Valid CNA license or 2 years patient care experience.
Valid CPR/First Aid certificate
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work as a valuable part of a team.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as prescriptions, safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak clearly and effectively to co-workers and residents family.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Hands on Caregiving: 3 years (Required)
- Time Management: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate (Preferred)
- Assistance with Self Administration of Medication (Preferred)
- First Aid Certification (Required)
- CPR Certification (Required)
