Job Overview :

We are looking for a seasoned carpenter with remodeling experience to take on the role of Lead Carpenter Remodeler, focusing on kitchen and bathroom projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in carpentry and construction, capable of leading projects and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities :

  • Carpentry Leadership :

Lead carpentry tasks for remodeling projects, particularly in kitchen and bathroom settings.

  • Supervise and guide a team of carpenters, providing hands-on training and quality control.
  • Project Execution :

    • Perform high-quality carpentry work including framing, trim work, cabinet installation, and custom woodwork.

  • Handle demolition and preparation work for remodeling projects.
  • Ensure that all carpentry aspects of the project are completed to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Project Coordination :

    • Work closely with the project manager to ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.

  • Coordinate carpentry schedules with other trades to ensure smooth project workflow.
  • Quality Assurance :

    • Conduct regular quality checks on carpentry work to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

  • Implement corrective measures where necessary to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
  • Client Interaction :

    • Engage with clients to discuss carpentry-related aspects of the project, ensuring their vision is realized in the craftsmanship.

  • Safety and Compliance :

    • Enforce safety protocols on the job site, particularly in carpentry operations.

  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations

    • Requirements :

  • Experience :

    • At least 5 years of experience as a carpenter, with a focus on remodeling.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a carpentry or construction setting.
  • Skills :

    • Mastery in carpentry with an emphasis on finishing work.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and remodeling plans
  • Physical Requirements :

    • Capability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
