Job Summary
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of heavy-duty construction, agricultural, or industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will expertly diagnose problems, perform complex repairs, and conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Inspect heavy equipment and identify potential issues.
- Diagnose malfunctions using computerized diagnostic systems and specialized tools.
- Repair or replace defective or worn parts, including fuel systems, engines, hydraulic components, electrical systems, and transmissions.
- Perform routine maintenance such as fluid changes, lubrication, and adjustments.
- Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment and components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Travel to job sites to perform repairs in the field.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and workplace policies.
