What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Split Rock Sand and Gravel?
Split Rock Sand and Gravel is a locally owned company that is seeking seasonal Excavator, Dozer, Wheel Loader, Skid Steer operators, and underground pipe layers. Experienced in Underground utility and/or farm drainage work is preferred but not mandatory. Very little road travel, and you will be home almost every evening. Class A CDL preferred, but not required. Valid Drivers License is required. Salary based on experience.

Requirements:
- Travel within a 1-hour radius of Sioux Falls, SD
- Ability to work in most weather conditions (heat, rain, snow, etc.)
- Ability to safely work in water and mud (job conditions are not always favorable)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be proficient in reading grade stakes, and construction plans
- have the ability to perform work without supervision
- Higher wage for Class A CDL
