Responsibilities
- Patient & Client Care: Provide a positive, supportive experience for pet parents, ensuring top-notch care for every patient.
- Medical Operations Leadership: Act as the Lead DVM on the clinic floor, overseeing medical procedures and standards of care across the Sploot network.
- Team Building & Training: Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members, while mentoring, coaching, and empowering the clinic team.
- Diverse Caseload: Enjoy a wide range of cases, from general practice to urgent care patients, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Cultural Ambassador: Embrace and champion Sploot's core values, promoting collaboration, work-life balance, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- DVM/VMD Degree: Valid Colorado state veterinary license in good standing.
- Clinical Experience: 5 years in general medicine and/or surgery, with proven leadership experience managing veterinary teams.
- Team Player: A collaborative approach to veterinary care, prioritizing open communication and a positive clinic culture.
- Organizational Skills: Adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, including delegation, prioritization, and accountability.
- Passion for Excellence: Committed to providing the best possible pet care, continually striving to grow clinic capabilities and patient outcomes.
- Emergency/Urgent Care & Dental: Previous experience in ER, urgent care, or dental procedures.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable with launching or scaling a new veterinary clinic.
- Growth-Focused: Excited about introducing a new approach to veterinary medicine and driving clinic success.
- Competitive Base Salary: Total compensation ranging $145,000–$200,000, plus potential performance bonus.
