Role Summary
As a Security Engineering leader, you will drive the design, implementation, and operations of platforms and services, for Infrastructure, Workload, and Cloud security. To be successful in this role, you'll need a proven track record of engaging with multi-functional engineering and product teams to deliver security solutions and services that are functional, secure, scalable, and reliable. Your contributions will not only impact Splunk's security posture but help our customers' digital resiliency.

What you'll get to do
- Lead a team of versatile, world-class security engineers and managers working on delivering risk-based security outcomes.
- Drive all elements of our Security Engineering and be accountable for the outcomes.
- Participate in the development of stacked-ranked roadmaps and drive investment in critical security engineering initiatives.
- Critical thinking and partnering across various product and security teams to drive security into all aspects of our infrastructure.
- Establish a strong engineering culture.

Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area : $242,400.00 - 333,300.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts : $218,160.00 - 299,970.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area, and Washington DC Metro Area : $193,920.00 - 266,640.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and / or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
