About the position
As our Senior Manager of UX, you will be a pivotal leader in shaping the user experience strategy for technical products and capabilities that span our portfolio. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering & product management – to create and advocate for design solutions that meet the unique challenges of our customers. The role requires a balance of visionary design leadership and hands-on collaboration, guiding a team of UX designers to deliver world-class, scalable solutions!
What you'll get to do
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of UX designers.
- Drive and oversee work on key objectives for the UX team.
- Define and drive the overall UX strategy for cross-product capabilities, aligning user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility in a constantly evolving landscape.
- Allocate resources and assignments within the team.
- Review and critique deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with goals.
- Partner with UX Research to identify and launch research initiatives to ensure design decisions are data-informed.
- Connect the dots and help drive alignment across multiple cross-functional partners, product areas, and initiatives.
- Influence product direction through proactive partnership.

Base Pay Range
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and / or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
