We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Occupancy Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with residents and potential residents to gather necessary information for certifications and renewals, ensuring compliance with all related policies and governmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
To perform this role effectively, you will be responsible for the following duties:

- Send Recertification Notices and interview residents for all necessary certifications
- Prepare and verify all necessary documents to process certifications
- Send completed certifications to the Corporate Occupancy Specialist for review and approval
- Process all monthly certifications and ensure they are included in the HAP, sent for review and approval
- Maintain the EIV Master Binder, pulling Monthly and Quarterly reports as outlined by the EIV checklist
- Process and send Vacancy Claims, Unpaid Rent, and Tenant Damage Claims
- Ensure compliance with all community policies, procedures, and applicable governmental laws and regulations
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Community Manager/Administrator
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members, residents, and management
- Ability to maintain professionalism and respect resident privacy and confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Prior experience in HUD housing is preferred
- Knowledge of Yardi 6.0 is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to strict timelines
- High attention to detail with exceptional time management skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and proof of insurance
