Job Description
Duties include, but not limited to, performing routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment, ensuring safety standards are met, documenting performed actions, and conducting operational inspections.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Previous experience in light carpentry work, tile and grout repair, plaster and painting
- Must be able to follow instructions
- The ability to safely perform work involving power tools, ladders, and other equipment as needed
- Ability to organize workflow on a daily basis is required
- Manual dexterity, can stoop, bend and work in tight spaces and able to lift 50lbs
- Self-motivated, ability to work with little supervision to ensure building and surroundings areas are attractive, clean, and well functioning
- Positive attitude; takes pride and ownership in job
- Ability to think and act quickly, problem solve, and perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional, helpful, and poised demeanor.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); formal trade training preferred. Minimum age of 18 years.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
