You will work closely with our catering sales team and clients / members to create customized menus that meet their specific needs and preferences. Your role will also involve managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met, and maintaining inventory and budget controls. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You should be creative, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position will also support our 1910 Restaurant and Deli kitchens. - Collaborate with event planners and other staff to ensure seamless service.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Develop and test new recipes.
- Manage time efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all food items.
- Prepare and cook food in large quantities for events.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
- Adapt to last-minute changes and requests from clients.
