What we will ask of you:
· No experience in Montessori? Not a problem! We will train the right person. We will even pay for your Montessori teaching certificate if you are interested (conditions apply)
· Submit and pass a background check through MERIT upon submitting a resume
· Complete other DCYF requirements within a timely manner
· Be 18 years of age or older
· Be reliable
· Be able to lift up to 25 pounds
· Be able to get up and down from the floor, and sit on the floor for extended periods
· Be kind, caring, consistent, and compassionate!
Overview:
·The Spokane Falls Montessori School is looking for an assistant teacher to work in the infant program from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 11:00 to 5:30 on Fridays, with the option of working more hours as a sub as your schedule allows (up to 40 hours per week).
· Meet all Assistant Teacher requirements in DCYF
· We are currently full in all our classrooms and cannot offer childcare at this time. If an opening becomes available, we may be able to enroll your child at that time for a discounted amount (conditions apply) if you cannot qualify for state subsidy. As an employee, your child(ren) will be at the top of our waitlist.
