Seeking a great candidate to oversee student supervision at Grant Elementary during recess/lunch times (10:55-12:25) as well as doing crossing guard duties (8:00-8:30) & (2:45-3:15) daily. Please apply if you are able to work both, or one or the other, of these time frames.

- Salary: $17.16 per hour Benefits
- -Medical/Dental/Vision through SEBB (School Employee Benefits Board) are provided for employees who work at least 630 hours per academic year.

Responsibilities
- Work cooperatively with students, families and staff.
- Provide general support to the office, answering phones, and preparing attendance slips.
- Operate equipment or machines (copy machines, computers, etc.)
- Supervise students in cafeteria; assist as directed to assure an efficient operating lunch program.
- Patrol school building and/or playground to ensure that students are behaving in a safe manner and not engaging in hazardous activities.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- School-related experience working with children and/or teachers preferred.
- Ability to work independently and/or cooperatively under supervision and with other staff members.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately perform clerical tasks.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Demonstrated successful experience developing and maintaining positive and professional working relationships with a diverse group of students, staff, volunteers, and the community in a confidential manner.
- Relates positively to youth and adults of varying socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
