What are the responsibilities and job description for the Convenience Store Manager position at SPOKANE TRIBE-SPOKANE RESERVATION?
The Spokane Tribe-Spokane Reservation seeks a highly motivated and experienced Convenience Store Manager to join our team. As the face of our retail operations, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing daily store activities, supervising staff, planning sales promotions, and maintaining adequate stock inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Transactions: Conducts sales transactions quickly and accurately.
- Store Merchandising: Stocks and merchandises as instructed by management.
- Shift Changes: Accomplishes shift changes by documenting unit inventory counts of tobacco products and cash register counts at the beginning and end of every shift.
- Inventory Management: Manages store inventory including completing orders, tracking, and ensuring appropriate levels are maintained for both fuel operations and store merchandise.
- Crew Access: Tracks and maintains all crew access codes/standards, i.e., safe codes, POS codes, POS overages/shortages, safe counts, cleaning checklist, In-House Account Processes, etc.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in cash handling and inventory management. Additionally, they must be able to obtain an Underground Storage Tank Class C Certification within 14 days of employment and hold a valid food handlers' card.
