The person we are looking for will have the following qualities:

• Integrity: The top requirement for most cleaning companies. We need someone who will not be tempted to steal from our clients. If that's a thought that often crosses your mind, please do not apply (and maybe seek help).
• Self-Motivated: Do you hate cleaning? If so, this probably isn't the job for you. We need an individual who likes to clean and feels accomplished after doing a great job.
• Eco-Conscious: Do you care about the effect that your actions have on the environment? Let's say you've started taking small steps in your own life like purchasing a reusable water bottle or telling your Starbucks barista "no straw please". Our ideal team-member cares about their impact on the planet. We need someone who will not only take our No Toxic Chemicals rule seriously, but also feel pride working for a company who will not back down on that mission. But we don't stop at non-toxic chemicals! We are constantly looking for ways to reduce our waste such as reusable spray bottles with concentrated cleaning tablets vs single-use plastic bottles, and reusable gloves vs disposable. • Good with Pets: Most of the homes we enter have pets, you need to be able to work with and around them. If you are allergic to any type of typical pet or dont like animals, this is probably not for you.
• Reliable: We need someone who will show up at the job site on time and ready to make a great impression on our clients! If you often arrive late, call-in sick, or show up with the "just-rolled-out-of-bed" look, you will not be a good fit. That being said, as a company who prioritizes family, we understand that things happen and will work with you so long as it's not frequent and you communicate with us as soon as possible.
• Attention to Detail: Great attention to detail is what brings a cleaning company from "good" to "AMAZING!" We want to be AMAZING on every single one of our cleans! So being able to spot the finger smudges around the light switches, to the dirt build up on the baseboards is crucial.

Job Responsibilities

• Efficiently complete cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning out ovens, washing walls & windows, etc.
• Provide friendly and professional communication with clients
• Accurately manage time to complete the job within the estimated time limit

Benefits & Pay

• $17-$20 per hour (depending on experience) plus occasional tips from clients

Working Hours

Our cleaning jobs are performed Mon-Thur, typically between the hours of 9 am - 5 PM. We rarely schedule evening cleanings and we are closed Fri-Sun.

Hours per week: Currently between 5-15 hours per week

At the moment, we can't offer you a set-schedule. It's more of an on-call schedule. Many times, our cleanings are scheduled 2-3 days before, sometimes even the day before. One week we may have 3-4 cleanings scheduled, the next we may only have one. We need someone who can be flexible and know that it's not always going to be consistent. However, we are growing. In a few months this could be completely different and we may be able to offer more hours and a consistent schedule as we gain more recognition in our area and recurring clients.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a reliable vehicle that can get you to and from the job site
• Must be able to move frequently. This job can be physically demanding for some! We are moving our limbs constantly, squatting down to scrub surfaces, lifting equipment and reaching up to clean high areas. In other words, this job could replace your gym membership.
