The Boys Gymnastics Coach is responsible for coaching both the recreational and competitive boys' gymnastic programs in a professional and energetic manner. This position will require some travel and a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends. The position will average 16-20 hours / week.
The starting rate is $20 / hour. The Nook provides the necessary USAG membership and trainings.
NOTE : Because this position will involve routine interaction with children, all candidates must successfully obtain the following clearances PRIOR to beginning employment :
- PA State Police criminal history record,
- PA Child Abuse Clearance, and
- FBI Fingerprint-based criminal history clearance.

Work environment : Upbeat, high-energy sports and event complex with heavy foot traffic and frequent large crowds. This position will be located in the gymnastics and cheerleading room.Physical requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to perform physical activity that includes moving about the work area, standing, sitting, bending, reaching with hands and arms, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing and smelling. The team member will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. He or she is required to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.Lifting requirements : The team member will occasionally be required to lift, push, pull, lower and / or move up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 65 lbs occasionally when spotting gymnasts.Noise Level : The noise level in this environment is typically moderate to loud.
